Hi everyone, I have a weird problem.... (Windows machine with .exe projector)
I have a SWF file as a sprite in channel 1, it is a linked file not internal. In this sprite is some movie clips that have 2 markers, on and off. At the beginning of the movie a stub loads the main projector, this projector loads some variables in from a text file for example _root:Page2Box1 = "off". This is sent to the swf sprite and in the sprite it looks for the value of the variable and sends a movie clip to either on or off marker depending on the value of the variable. Now when this movieclip that contains a button is clicked on it changes to the opposite marker, e.g. off goes to on. And the value of the variable is changed (in this case off would become on). Sort of a rocker switch type movieclip. Now that all runs just fine but here is my problem, when running the projector everything is fine and let's say movieclip1 is in the off position and the variable is set to off. But if the projector window looses focus and then regains it, it somehow seems to invert the clip, off changes to on etc. And even stranger if the projector window looses focus and regains it everything flips again. Has anyone had a situation like this? Or know of a problem related to window focus and flash variables? I have checked and all the frames that the swf and projector are sitting on are either using stop();(for the flash) or go the frame (for director) It is driving me nuts and I'm on a deadline for this :( Regards and going crazy, Peter Witham Internet and Multimedia Solutions (817) 280 9367 http://www.evolutiondata.com icq: 4436851 MSN Messenger: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Member: National Association of Photoshop Professionals [To remove yourself from this list, or to change to digest mode, go to http://www.penworks.com/lingo-l.cgi To post messages to the list, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Problems, email [EMAIL PROTECTED]).
