Hi, A friend of mine is working on an interactive material with a lot of QTVR movies but we have found that is's a bit slow to switch QUICKLY between differents panoramic nodes. We were trying to fake a panoramic node with a flash asset but we can't compensate the wrapping effect of the stiching process.
We have found this page which uses a QTVR alternative... http://www.glaeserne-manufaktur.de/flash_german/gmdp1.html Select ERLEBNIS and then the DRESDENTOUR STARTEN BUTTON (bottom left) Actually, this is a direct link to that effect: http://www.glaeserne-manufaktur.de/flash_german/touren/html/d_dresden.ht ml I remember back to 97 some samples of 3d engines to create something like this and even some cubic images samples but I don't remember where exactly. The best part of this example is to use ANIMATION within a panoramic image which looks pretty more amazing than a normal QTVR. Any idea about how was this done would be greatly appreciated.
