Hi,
Have you tried putting the variable text in to a text field? That
would be one way to get it quickly and easily on the stage. And you can
control the layout that way as well. All you would need is a blank text
field in the cast and you could use lingo like
member("my textfield cast member name").text = myVariableName
Just a thought on how I would do it.
