Hello- Longtime lurker. First time posting.
Does anyone here have an example of using a w3d file with director? A URL to forward me to? Im using lightwave, have read the LW docs, and have read the Macromedia online docs some, but its still a little unclear to me how I can target an element within the w3d with an element outside the .w3d. Like, if I have a .lwo file with two layers, a box in one layer, and a ball in another, can I use a seperate sprite member to onmouseWithin-rotate-box and then have another sprite that when onmouseWithing-rotate-ball? That kind of a setup would let me see which kind of script I need to use to dig into the .w3d file and access a specific mesh. Mostly Im trying to make a fly through for some 3d setups Ive got. Im thinking that starting with a seperate cast member triggering a rotation of a specific 3D element in my .w3d file would get me started, and give me enough of a ground to work from. Thanks! Any help will be greatly appreciated. -Garen [To remove yourself from this list, or to change to digest mode, go to http://www.penworks.com/lingo-l.cgi To post messages to the list, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Problems, email [EMAIL PROTECTED]).
