Ross, I don't know what version of Director you are using, but assuming you are using D8.5 or DMX, there is an egg in Director based on the button style. In D8.5, Macromedia wanted to change the button style (tool bars, tool palette, etc.) from looking like buttons to the flat style that Windows uses. The beta testers rebelled: why make something that is a button look like not a button? They took it away for D8.5, but now it's back in DMX. Anyway, to make a short story long, they never took out the code for the different button styles. You can switch back and forth between the buttons and the Windows (Bill's) flat style. Try these commands in the Message Window:
I like Bill Bill is Evil (Case sensitive, I think) They trigger the switch between the two button styles. And no, the person who put this into Director has not been fired. -Phil Ross Clutterbuck wrote: > > the Bill is Evil button-style feature > > Am I missing something? > > Ross [To remove yourself from this list, or to change to digest mode, go to http://www.penworks.com/lingo-l.cgi To post messages to the list, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Problems, email [EMAIL PROTECTED]).
