Sorry, it's probably just me that's confused. I guess I am a bit blurry
particularly when it comes to Shockwave. I have put one or two things on
the Web with Shockwave but it's been a few years.

I guess I was wondering how to include the DirectSound Xtra in a
Shockwave file (and whether I have to worry about it or is it looked
after automatically). But on a closer look I noticed in the
Modify>Movie>Xtras menu that the DirectSound.x32 file is included, even
though I am authoring on a Mac and the file does not seem to exist in
the Xtras folder.

I also noticed that there is a "Download if Needed" option which is
*not* ticked by default. So now I am wondering whether it is a good idea
to tick that box or not.

And now I am also wondering about including the QTAsset.x32 Xtra since
it is not available on the Mac or does including the Mac QuickTime Asset
(with possibly the "Download if Needed" option ticked) do the trick?

And what I have always wondered is whether I am better off leaving the
"Download if Needed" option turned off unless I know a user needs one
particular Xtra to play the movie (in this case they have an option of a few).

I know what to do in the case of a projector but I am afraid I am a bit
fuzzy on the Shockwave side of this - and the books I have don't seem to
go into enough detail for me on this subject.

Maybe this is detail I need to worry about when I get to the internet
testing stage but it is handy to have an idea on the queue()-ing stuff
so that I have an idea of which way to code the sound as I go, so thanks
for the info so far.
