Just wait until you get into database-Lingo codings... I'm using 'fields' and have made codes for specific fields to handle liftovers in between clipBoard of the op. This also affect the handling around hilite for D4-D7 ...so far... It's not included any copy/paste/hilites of textchunks. So if it not even works lifting into authoring mode of the Director, it is just to understand the in betweens that care for the copying-container, the clipBoard in op. Pretty same method through the years, as I guess can change just for more dense files and their inside parts of sounds, pictures, film sequences what ever.. It takes a while to adapted newer program's file types in op:s. Some aren't and probs are seen directly...and in older-op:s, it is abs. not! Don't count that for certain at all...
