I've done all these things with QuickTime sound-only members, but now I have to work with MP3 and suddenly everything is different :-)Dunno if itll help or not, but for a recent project, I had a problem with some MP3s... they didnt wanted to loop. First I thought it was me working continuously for 20 hours but then Ive used exactly the same code with another MP3 and it worked perfectly. The solution was to open and re-save the conflictive MP3s in Sound Forge and everything worked like a charm.
My 2 cents
