The DateMaster Xtra has a function for returning the day of week (0 to 6, I believe), country independent. Does Julian date math and lots of other things. We don't promote it as much due to the newer date functions in Director, but a few (like day-of-week) are still unique.

Which is why I asked. What would be nice would be if the system would give me a day-of-the-week, in the proper language (and calendar). Not even Flash will do that. How about:
