I've been begging for years for the ability to write to a sound cast member. This is just one of many good things that could be done if that was possible.
For this project I will just have to render out an AIFF. I am going to try one thing though, and that is to have a linked AIFF file, and write to it. Maybe I can make Dir reload the file and play it with just a few seconds' delay?
