I found HexEdit and found the code. So I'm mostly happy, now.
The movie is still giving me weird errors. I have lots of linked images, (200) but that doesn't seem that extream... not sure what's going on. It is a very simple dir, I'm thinking. But director disagrees.

Is there a hex editor, or some other way I can try to salvage some of my lingo? In particular there are 2 very nasty data tables I had to hand slam & I'd hate to do those 2 hours again.
Try opening it in Word, using Recover Text From Any File.
