I tried that, but in 3DS MAX I had several models all animating, and when I rotated them, of course if messed everything up. There isn't a better workaround, or is this what everyone does?
I would imagine since 3ds max was one of the first to come out with Shockwave exporter, something like this couldn't slip through the cracks. Its such a major issue. Just one test and the Developers could have figured that out. 3DS export to other programs like Blitz 3d works fine and the z axis is corrected to be the y axis, etc.
