I just did a quick test and auto-download of Xtras seems to be working on my end. It may be that (a) their Xtra isn't available for auto-download or (b) they haven't marked the Xtra as download if necessary within the movie. Either way it does seem that Xtras downloading in general is working on OSX, at least on my end. You can always verify if this is true by removing a default include Xtra (like the Flash Asset) and making a simple test movie with that Xtra marked for download, then see if that download actually happens.
