Hi Colin,

Does it vary whether there's a space (as you show above) or is there
always a space, and you missed some when you posted the list? If you
select the marker name in Peak, copy and paste it somewhere else,
does it have the space by then, or is it only when you get the
cuepoints in Director that the space appears?

The spaces vary and only appear in Director.
Here's a list of cuepoints from markers:
-- ["mark01", "mark2 ", "mark3 ", "mark4 ", "mark5 ", "mark6 ", "mark6 ", "mark7 ", "mark8 ", "mark9 "]

When I change marker names in Peak (eg "mark4 ", "mark5 ", "mark6 "), the spaces are gone:
-- ["mark01", "mark2 ", "mark3 ", "mark04", "mark05", "mark06", "mark6 ", "mark7 ", "mark8 ", "mark9 "]

Changing to shorter names in Peak seems to work:
-- ["mark01", "mark2 ", "mark3 ", "m4", "m5", "m6", "mark6 ", "mark7 ", "mark8 ", "mark9 "]

However, changing names to longer names does not:
-- ["mark01", "mark2 ", "mark3 ", "peakmarker7 ", "peakmarker5 ", "peakmarker6 ", "mark6 ", "mark7 ", "mark8 ", "mark9 "]

In any case, my easy solution would be to continue using SoundEdit.
It works fine, you just have to allow Classic to be running.

You're probably right.

Met vriendelijke groet,
