Finally! That darn OS/X. Well, we had to fully rewrite the internals on CD Pro, but it is now available as a beta release. Due to the number of people requesting CD Pro we decided to do an early public beta release instead of just waiting until it was final.
IMPORTANT: There have been changes to the licensing, and not all of the extended functions are working in the beta version. It is imperative that you read the Beta FAQ available at http://www.penworks.com
CD Pro Xtra lets you control redbook (CD audio) tracks from Director, great for enhanced CDs or personal players, or any CD-based program.
Coming soon we will have additional features, now possible thanks to the rewriting of the code base. Also the release version will have drag-and-drop behaviors, sample programs, extended documentation, and more.
