Yes.
I am using the MUI Xtra. My project was originally created with Dir 7.0.2, updated to Dir 8.5.1 and now running on Mac OSX 10.2.6 under Dir MX.
No problems encountered.
The MUI Xtra runs fine (for me) in Authoring and Projector mode ( the Dir with the MUI handlers is called from a Stub Projector).
Please note, I am using .dir not .dcr or dxr.
The MUI handlers are in an internal (i.e. not external linked) cast.
