Probably what you want to look into is a "Movie in a Window" also known as a MIAW. They are director movies that you can launch from other director movies, and they run in their own window.

They can share global variables with the main movie, even be linked to the same external casts. And one movie window can send messages back to the other.

In the categorized lingo popup list (from the message window) look for the "Movie in a Window" section (near the bottom) for all the MIAW commands.

Hi:
I am devceloping an interactive learning tool that uses drill/practice and test methodologies. However, there is a large amount of content that I want to include as part of the tool. There is a large amount of content that I can not exclude, and I am trying different ways to make it "interactive". Is there an easy way to make a "mini" program within a program, like a pop up screen where I could display the text info.

Thank you for your time
