Hi list! For a simple slide show application I am using very large images (4096 x 768).
I am using two cast members. When cast member A is displaying a slide, I use importFileInto to import the next slide into cast member B. And vice versa. My problem: Even though the images are on the local hard disk, it importFileInto takes some time. I need the execution of the next "step forward" to wait for the next slide to be available. Is there a way to tell when importFileInto is done? I looked into preloadnetthing, but I am not downloading from the internet. Any solution?
