I'm getting script error messages into Message window during authoring. No
alert boxes or debuggers. Where can I configure things back to normal?
Sounds like someone might be setting an alertHook script someplace. Search all your code for that. Also note that parents which have not been cleared from memory can have the same effect, so if you happen to load one file at the beginning of the day with an alertHook or similar setting, then ext file you load, if you don't quit Director, will have that resident still.
Also look for a script that begins with the handler "on alert".
