It can be done in Director
Lingo code:

foFlashObject = newObject("Object")
foFlashObject.setProp(#myProp, "Hello World")
foFlashObject.setProp(#myOtherProp, "Life should be free")

Does that help or did I miss something.

Sincerely
Mark R. Jonkman
