Thanks, guys, really helpful the insight on databases and lingo. I´ve been using Director for quite a long time and never had to deal with databases but this time i think ill go for it. Thanks. By the way another question. I´m loading the different images into one member by replacing the member with the import file into command. Thing is i have a timeout object whixh monitors for mouse movement while i change the images. the problem is that the timeout object does not activate while the images are being loaded and replaced and that is what i need. If the user does not move the mouse while the images change something happens but the timeut object is not being called while director loads and shows the images. any idea why?
