My client is having me use the OnStage Media Xtra for Director, because they own the liscense.
My problem is that everything I've tried has failed to link this video to the program. I've had to hard code the path of the video, in order for Director to be able to find it. It wasn't a problem, because the clients user base SUPPOSEDLY had all their CD drives labeled as D:. Well now we found out that there are machines that have E: labeled CD drives. What a surprise. Anyway, Director can't find the video in a video folder below its subdirectory and it can't even find it in the SAME directory that my projector is in. The ONLY way we've ever gotten this video to be found is a straight hard-coded path. (ie. D:\Main\video\video.mpg) Has anyone ever work with this Xtra and can offer any idea or suggest? Tabulerio's Xtra works so well, but the client doesn't want to purchase another Xtra, they want this one. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
