Alphabetically, that's correct (because they're strings).


One way around it, if you MUST have them as strings, is to pre-pend them with 0's, so you get "001", "002", "003", ... "010", "011".

Write a function to prepend zeros until you reach a certain length, and another to strip them. Stripping is easy, it would just be:

myStrippedVar =string(integer(myUnstrippedVar))
