I can't for the life of me get buddyApis function baShortFilename() to work on OSX.
the docs say clearly, that it should work on OSX, but the only thing I get from this function is <void> :-(
regardless what I do.
what am I missing ?
The thing I *always* miss with this function is that the file _must_ exist before you can obtain its shortName - at least this is the case with the Windows version. Perhaps this is your problem too - if the same requirement applies to OSX?
