It depends on who's looking for them.
A program doing a directory search for them won't find them, unless they specifically look for hidden files.
A program trying to open the files will work fine.
I think autorun.inf probably needs to be visible, but maybe not.
For the other files, if the program explicitly tries to open a file, it will succeed. If it has a wildcard in some directory search, it'll probably fail.
But it's easy enough to test. Make a folder on your hard drive, put the files in, make some hidden, see what happens.

Are there any considerations for that? My thought is that it might make it more "aesthetic" if the user just doesn't see these files.
