yes, thanks, but I know, that it can be done with lingo.
it would be easier, if it would just be built in somehwere.
when I write a parentscript to handle the timeout parameters, I don't need to use timeouts at all, but rather write my own timeout manager, which checks the time on a regular basis and sends events.
