I've got a client with a project involving the cdpro xtra, and we are
looking to add OSX support. So I told them to buy the 2.0.5 MX beta, and we
set to work. Unfortunately, the xtra does not work properly on my machine...

I'm working on a G3 running 10.2.8 (Jaguar), and though the registration
function works fine, and I'm able to instantiate an instance of the plugin,
the CD-ROM (internal -- factory supplied, and only one) doesn't respond to
many commands. status(cd) returns Not Ready. GetCDDrive returns a plausible
number (-137), and with the #disc argument, it returns "Audio Disc," so I
guess it is seeing the CD-ROM.

However, getDBCode returns "00000000" for every disc I put in. All the
playback functions do nothing. Eject does nothing. Ready(cd) returns 0, as
does stopped(cd), and paused(cd). I'm baffled.

For what it is worth, this machine, and this drive work fine with the most
recent 1.x version of CDPro when I launch the machine off an OS9 partition.

Any ideas?
