> How about Unicode support?

Lingo strings do not support Unicode so that's why you're likely having
trouble using Flash assets to render your unicode strings. Once Lingo
touches 'em you're hosed... But wait... There's more! You'll have to wait
for Christmas though, sorry!

Ok, I shouldn't tease Kurt so much. :) The SpiderMonkey engine that we used
to implement support for JavaScript syntax does support Unicode string data
so you can safely use Unicode strings in JS whereas in Lingo you cannot.
This means that while we don't have direct support for Unicode, you can get
to it in a round-about way by using JavaScript syntax and Flash members to
render that text. The whole point is to never move your Unicode string data
through Lingo.

Let me be clear: I am NOT saying "we support Unicode via Flash" so don't get
all riled up at me (not you Kurt, but the users in general). I am saying
"hey, look at this little factoid, it might help bridge the gap in the
meantime".
