If I check "Reset monitor to match movie's color depth" in Publishing Settings Director will rest my mentor refresh rate from 100 to 60.
Your English is reasonably good, but fell down a couple of times in that sentence, which was supposed to be a question:
"If I check "Reset monitor to match movie's color depth" in Publishing Settings, will Director reset my monitor refresh rate from 100 Hz to 60 Hz?"
The answer is no, it won't, but you should also know that you may not want to use that feature. What it will do is switch the colordepth on the fly, say from 32 bit down to 8 bit, if you go into a movie that is set for that. It should affect the resolution or the scan rate of the monitor.
The reason you perhaps shouldn't use the feature is that when the user quits the monitor is likely to remain in the switched state, instead of going back to the setting they had before. If you really have to switch the colordepth, it's better to use Lingo, and first set a variable to remember the current setting before switching. Then when the user quits, you can switch the monitor back to the setting you remembered.
