The first project I tried in D3014, to see if our Not-Really-Written-To-Run-Well-In-Director Flash navigation piece ran better in D3014 than DMX had issues with several parts of code....MIAW's syntax seems to have changed permanently and no amount of scriptExecutionStyle-ing helped.
I'm not from Missouri, but I'd block more than a couple minutes for any real project to upgrade, just in case.

You know that scriptExecutionStyle is dynamically setable, right? If
you're updating a pre-D10 project, you can set that to 9 in startMovie,
then flip it to 10 and back when you want to use new syntax. I used
that approach a few times, and have been pretty happy with the results.
