Pejda,

If you google "eclipse java programming" you get a lot of interesting results. Some of these point to the eclipse.org site. Going there you can discover that, "Eclipse is a kind of universal tool platform - an open extensible IDE for anything and nothing in particular."

Here are some more links if you want to learn more.

Jonathyn,

Eclipse looks great, but as I don't do much Java anymore, I haven't had the time to play around with it. So the fact that I haven't heard of a lingo plugin isn't that surprising. If someone knows of a lingo or actionscript plugin though, by all means share :0)

I can't get my head around it right now (hehehe...reason undisclosed)
but I think everybody should read it. I think this is a gem of a (what's
the tech term of where we are now...forum, list!?) mutant spam. Correct
me if I'm wrong.

Ah...well...doesn't sound important I know...but don't be surprised
tomorrow when you'll have to download anti-spam for your mobile phones:)

P.s. JB Tellez... would you mind refrasing whatever your post was all
about...

Hi Slingers,
Have any of you played/worked with the Eclipse IDE and wished that you
could do your Lingo coding within it, especially for the refactoring
support? Have any of you heard of a Lingo plug-in for Eclipse. I do
half of my work in Java and the other half in Lingo. It's getting more
and more painful to leave Eclipse to code Lingo but I am NOT a Java
expert with the ability to create an Eclipse plug-in. Maybe one day I
will be, in the mean time I thought I'd ask around.
Thanks,
JB Tellez
