but I was told once by Buzz, that it has been like this before and really it has been like that in D8 and before.
I am not sure, why I notice it more today than I did before.
also I thought it was an OSX issue, that the mouseUp is fired although the mousedown happened in another graphic port. but unfortunately it is like this and it bugs me as well as you like mad.
if you ever deleted a castmember incidentally, when you activeted some text in the script or message window and hit the delete key you can tell ;-)
The cast version of the bug is the one that has bitten me the most - (at least as far back as d8)
select text in the message window & drag out of the message window (& over the cast window) & release & then press delete & instead of the selected text disappearing, I lose a cast member
luckily I know about it & try to keep the cast out of harm's way ... :)
