The problem I see is that when the text member is given a #scroll boxType, the scrollbar that appears looks like a portion of the normal scrollbar: it has only the up-arrow, and a portion of the slider.

I see that too. My work around is to only set the boxType to scroll when there are enough lines in the text member for it to need a scroll bar.
