Welcome Back, Pekka :-) I'm not too skeptical, myself. I think it's a neat idea, and I might submit an idea myself. Macromedia is a pretty big company, with, I would assume, a pretty broad spectrum of political views. They might shy away from really controversial content like comparing Bush to Hitler, or saying Kerry lied about his war record. I wouldn't expect them to be too heavy-handed when it comes to the party you are supporting. Maybe I'm na�ve, but I tend to take them at their word. I think they're primarily looking for interesting content to promote the Shockwave brand, not a political party.
