hello all,
i'm currently working on a project in which i'm using the lingo commands
preloadNetThing and downloadNetThing. i'm noticing that the shockwave
performance of my project is alot faster than my projector's performance,
and indeed, when i check my anarchie logs, i notice that the preloadNetThing
and downloadNetthing functions timeout. the re-connection time is what's
causing my projector to slow down.
i was wondering if anyone knew of a workaround to these issues. i've tried
using the multiuser xtra, but the connection doesn't seem to want to stay
open either. specifically, can traditionally http server requests (like
GET) be used instead of preloadNetThing, and downloadNetThing possibly
preserving my connection?
any help would be greatly appreciated,
