zac,
have you ever had a problem with the fileXtra GetFileModDate("file_string")
returning a string of garbage (or any other function for that matter)?
if i call the function in my startMovie handler with a hard-coded filename,
i don't get garbage. but, if i call it from within a parent script, i get
garbage. if i call an external movie handler from within a parent script, i
get garbage, even if i still pass the function a hard-coded file string
directly ( as opposed to an argument from the parent script). of course, i
can always pass the value i return at the movie-level into a parent script,
but i'm nervous that my movie-level access won't always work, since i have
no understanding of why this handler returns garbage at all.
any further insight is greatly appreciated.
