I'm trying to get Scott Kildall's Audio Xtra working in Shockwave. I've
taken the demo that Gretchen wrote and made a few cosmetic changes to it.
D8, PII 333, 128MB RAM, W98 2e.
Everything works fine inside of Director. However, when I make a projector
or shock it, when I try to record, I get error -8800, "Sound recorder
closed" as soon as I issue the axRecordSoundToFile command. I get the same
error when I try axRecordSoundToRAM.
Has anybody run into this problem? Any ideas? I've sent a note to
UpdateStage tech support, but I'm trying to get this to work tonight. Plus,
I'll be in a seminar in San Francisco the next couple of days, and won't
have much chance to talk to the east coast.
