Only affects your box, the enduser generally isn't sitting on your machine.
However if the enduser is brilliant than they might know that they can do
the same on any box. So it definitely isn't limited to a development
machine, anyone anywhere can do it without a hitch. Except Mac users don't
get the message window, just a message window dump into a text file for
later reading.
PS. as per your next question, it would be in the base directory of
Shockwave 8 that you want to throw it, right next to dirapi.dll and those
types of files.
As an aside, I've never had a problem using it with DCR's as Irv suggests in
his next email.. maybe its a Mac thing, don't know.
