Dear list
Major thanks for all your info on the list and all the other interesting
bits concernig Warren.....no disrespect there... and the ultimate wish
list...how about a cooler for the brain ;-)) anyway I hoping the list can
help.. I have been used to Lingo stylisically and with its particular syntax
from 6.5 and below. I have been trying to follow the upgraded language
structure over the following months and to be honest I am rather at a loss
as to the way Lingo has developed. I have used Dir for the last 3 years and
had many a long,...happy (?) hours as many of you have "blessing" lingo
saying it should work....when of course you realise many hours later, 'doh!'
you missed some vitally small elemnt out..
Ok..is Lingo much like Java script now and if this is the case are there any
web sites or publications that would help to explain the syntax and
structure....I have already "Lingo in a Nutshell' and the Dir 6.5
manuals...some light on the subject would be greatly apreciated.
Ta....in antici..........pation!
