Thanks Terry for the member.media=member.media trick
I actually ended up using an old Warren the Howdy Man's suggestion
"write the entire html file to a variable and then use
member("mymember").html=theVariable"
the inline help (D7.0.2) was HORRIBLE about this-
when searching for "hyperlink"- all it said was
"Use the Text Inspector make any selected range of text a hyperlink that
typically links to a URL..."
nothing about how to do it via lingo.
