Hello all:

I've run into a problem with IE 5, surprise. I am using
goToNetPage("JavaScript:print('" & strOutput & "')") to pass a large
string to a Javascript and then print it in a new browser window. Life
is good on Netscape, both platforms, and IE 5 on the Mac, but IE 5 on
Windows throws an error of "unterminated string constant". I've cut and
pasted the exact string into the HTML/Javascript, assign it to a
variable and everything works fine on IE. As long as I call it from
Shockwave I get an error. I've tried to write a comparable vbscript,
but not knowing vbscript, I haven't been very successful.

Does anyone have an idea. I'm using Dir 8 on Win 98 passing a string
over 4000 chars.

Thanks.
