note "3D Groove" and "Dave's 3D Engine".

Haven't used them, but they look capable.

Also Intel has something in the oven with Macromedia 
that is a Director implementation of some of this stuff:

http://developer.intel.com/ial/3dsoftware/

But it is not a product yet.
