hi!
this is my first question. I hope it stays that way.
story: I designed a presentation, in D7 ( internet studio)
then to put it on the web I saved each Dir. files into shockwave
now, some links (" play x frame of y movie"} wouldn't work on the
web
and since I used flash extensively I had to do a little lingo in
D7 to ask the movie to wait till all the frames in flash sprite was
played
I fixed those two...
.... first by making each Dir. movie as a page and asking the next-buttons
to
go to URL of that movie
second...by pulling the sprite's tail (in the score{ barbaric no!}) as far
as the number of frames in the flash movie and removing the frame-script to
wait, so it worked ( on the web I mean)
now the problem is: I have links to a page "B" from page "A" and page "C"
when I press a "RETURN" button in page "B" I want to return to the caller
page from "C"
like how "play done" works I read in the lingo dictionary about the
externalEvent function and I
tried that.
by writing a simple function to go back ( document.history.back(); )and
calling that funct from the movie with
externalEvent.
it just didn't work
PS: i dont want users to use browser back button!
( I have a little 'C' background )
please help
