Hello Everyone,

On Win2K with a Director 6.5 projector the following error occurs:

"Problem opening 'C:\WINDOWS\TEMP.' "-34".

I saw this problem early on in development, but it went away after
running 1 of several Windows critical updates over a month's time. So, I
didn't get particularly concered at that point.

Now the CD is at the testing house, and the same error is occurring. So,
the testers ran Service Pack 1 with no luck at resolving the problem.
They haven't run all the critical updates, so that may be the missing
piece here.

The real problem here is that the Win2K user gets the above error
message when they boot my CD. When they click "OK", the program
continues normally without any problems.

Whether or not a critical update resolves the problem is really
secondary in my mind as the real issue is this--
Is there ANY way to trap for this error & prevent this from happening in
the first place?

Any insight or solutions??

Thanks,

Andy Driscoll
