Someone's recent post about exporting a Quicktime movie made me start
thinking; is there,

1) a way to create a Quicktime cast member on the fly just like we create
new(#bitmap), etc? Probably not as quicktime needs to be linked, not a
member of the cast. But perhaps using BuddyApi or another xtra, one can
create a new file (in the mac version with the correct type/creator
code), then a new cast member and link to that file on the fly...right?

2) That might be a work around for THAT, but then the 'not available'
part: could one, during the recording process, use imaging lingo that on
every frame of the projector a frame of said quicktime movie is given
that image? Meaning, I can create bitmaps with an image of from another
bitmap, but there's no way of giving that image to just one frame of
Quicktime, no?

The only way I think it might be done (given that the QT is linked, and
you can control each specific frame.image) is to create a numbered
sequence of bitmaps and then someone 'package' them into a Quicktime
file...
