I tried but I'm new to net lingo and getNetText only returned a value of 1.
I presume its because my script uses the pathName operand (@) and therefore
getNetText("@\dswmedia\data\data.txt") is the incorrect way and a URL must
be specified. How can I test the getNetText script using a local link?

Any help will be much appreciated!

Why not use getNetText()?
