Hi Dennis

I did something like this last year. As I recall BuddyAPI was at the
heart of checking for CD and propmpting the user to swap CD's etc. As
far as I could work out the *only* way to successfully do this was to
have the projector running from the hard disk, which meant using an
installer for the user to copy the relevant files on first run. Quite a
pain in the ass all said and done. If you like I can dig out the old
code and mail it to you, might save you some time (or might be a
complete dead-end hash-up!)
