Sunil, when you buy Director, it comes with a pretty good set of manuals. I
suggest you start there. Also go through the tutorials.
Then buy a book or two. Bruce Epstein's "Lingo in a Nutshell" is an
excellent overview, though it doesn't cover the new features of Director 8.
Gary Rosenzweig's "Using Director 8" is an excellent guide to the latest
version.
