A client of mine has asked me to do a screen saver for PC's. I
understand how to write the basic code of the screen saver, but I'm
unsure of the best way to turn this into a screen saver file for the
PC.
I checked the UpdateStage table of XTRA's and there are about 13
different XTRA's I could by to do the trick - ranging from free to
$299. From other's previous posts, I'm sure that at $299 Cinemac
would do exactly what I need. But being slightly cheap, I'm
wondering if other solutions would work as well.
Does anyone have any good (or bad experiences) using the less
expensive Xtras like: DirSaver, StartThing, Buddy Saver), ShowTime,
ScreenWeaver, Bitbull, Screensaver Wizard. SkyDir, etc. Or any good
or bad experiences with the free ones like: ScreenUtilitySaver,
Scraker, or AnySaver.
Thanks,
Irv
