hi list
cant tell u how embarrasing i feel asking this question. It's been over an
year i'm using director and i just dont know this.
i generally use director for creating multimedia presentations with
graphix and animations synchronised with voice over. i use vo in wave or aif
format. my question is which sound device i'm using. is it macromix, qt or
directsound.what's the difference. which one is best for my kind of
projects. what's qt .is it a quicktime movie with only sound and no video.
stuttering in voiceover has been a constant problem. no client of mine
agree for anything less than 800X600 graphix.and when i'm using 1000s of
graphix how many superpalletes i can afford to make. so these graphix cause
the stutter in voice over.
whenever some avi comes in score the wave sound in sound channel
stutters .even preloading doesn't help much.

thanx in advance
